How much does the direct booking website cost?

It's included in every plan. On bookings paid through the website the Doorling commission is 2% on the Check-in and PRO plans, zero on ULTRA. Stripe's fee is separate, around 1.5% plus 25 cents per European card.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. For now the site lives at doorling.it/r/ and connecting your own domain, for PRO and ULTRA plans, isn't live yet.

Does the guest pay the tourist tax on the website?

No, the booking payment covers nights and cleaning. On the website the guest sees the estimated tax and pays it later, with online check-in or on arrival, as with other bookings.

Can I ask for a deposit or set a cancellation policy?

Not yet. Anyone paying through the website pays for the whole stay upfront, and you handle any refund from your Stripe Dashboard, while Doorling records it on the booking.

Is the website translated?

Yes, the guest picks the language from the menu or it follows the browser. Description and house rules are translated, the FAQs stay as you wrote them.

What is Direct booking site?

Doorling's direct booking website is the public page for your properties, at doorling.it/r/ followed by your business name. Visitors see photos, description, amenities, a neighborhood map and the calendar, pick their dates and book without going through Airbnb or Booking.com.

You don't build the site separately, because it uses the photos, descriptions, rates and rules already on your property page. The price is each night's rate with the “Direct” channel markup, which can also be a discount, plus cleaning, and the total shown is what the guest pays. Minimum stays and closed days work just as they do on the portals, and a night without a rate can't be sold.

The guest can pay for the whole stay right away on Stripe, with the dates held for 60 minutes while they pay, or send you a request without paying. The booking goes into the same calendar as the others and online check-in starts from there.

In Website you choose which properties to publish, each page's address, the colors and one of the five design templates.
The content is already there
Photos, description, amenities, neighbourhood and rates come from the property page, and you edit them just once.
The guest books
They pick the dates, see the total and pay with Stripe, or send you a request without paying.
The stay goes into the calendar
The dates close on the calendar and on connected channels, and the guest gets the check-in link like any other booking.
